I've tried a few times today and every time, watching it (Or trying to) has made Firefox cras.

The screen starts out looking like one of the corrupt files in the gallery threads... =/

Is firefox just not good for it?

That was excellent, and a great allegory. Thanks, looking forward to more :)

Edit to add: I watched it using Firefox, so no, it works. I did wait for it to download completely before I played it though.

OK, you've got me captivated!
I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.11. Absolutely no problem whatsoever!
Loved the computer generated voice.

I watched all three of these new releases back to back and it was fascinating. My comments are those of pure audience - I'm more ignorant than you can imagine about machinima.

Even in this first episode, which of necessity is mostly exposition, I got an exciting sense of narrative momentum. There's going to be a real story here! Yay! And the graphics in both the trailer and episode were, I thot, gorgeous.

I love the oblique "snow crash" references at the start of this, like Snow Crash was at the start of SL. The episode also had a Philip K. Dick feel to it, which ya clearly know is just candy to SLers! Wonderful stuff and I look forward to the next installment ...

Love it - weird and wonderful. :)

I've just subscribed to this, and can't wait to see the next one in the set...

I agree with the previous comments, and there does seem to be a sense of a 'real' story coming out... keep it coming Robbie

EDIT - just checked in Firefox, ok for me too. To the The video is MPEG-4 I think, can you play other M4v files in Firefox Okiphia? The first bit is supposed to look screwy.
