Hey!
I hate that they changed the joystick menu! I tried using it yesterday and I plugged in all the correct settings like I always used to do it, checked the joystick box and everything.
When I started using my joystick, the left one wouldnt do anything and the right one would move around then snap right back into place.
Help?

From my tests, the new RC are setup for Space Navigator, you have to use the device setup to regain some controls, although not really effective.... my advise, stick with the 1.19 client for as long as you can... thanks LL... I can only imagine they get commission for every Space navigator that is sold...

The 1.9 client is still available as the standard client download, not the RC version 1.2+

oh but I tried downloading the Regular client (not Release candidate) on my PC and the joystick still wouldnt work . I'm soooo confused. I don't think the space navigator thing is even worth it - it has this stupid wheel and its like i have to train my hands. i need a client with lip sync AND a functioning joystick thing-- i used to have this client with the first lipsync before it was available god i hope thats still available. damn me for trusting linden lab- they like to screw things up like this to buy their stupid little wheel when my thing worked awesome!

I'm using this USB joystick and settings with the release client V1.20.15:   On my joystick there is an Analog button which I need to push to make it work with these settings. - Infrared |
