I have put together a gallery of machinima, featuring currently ten well-known artists:
Robbie Dingo, Tao Takashi, Clames Clanger, Sandro Melnitz, Racerx Gullwing, Angrybeth Shortbread, Moo Money, Kronos Kirkorian, In Kenzo, and Susi Spicoli.
I would be grateful for any comments and ideas, also for other artists interested in exhibiting.
The format is similar to SL's birthday event, small but expressive display areas where the artists set up anything they want (ranging from rabbit holes to cinemas, to fractal movie sculptures), and can display any number of movies in their area, driven by a player that Tao Takashi built.
I am having an official opening party on Saturday 26th August, from 2pm SLT onwards. Fireworks, bars, a pool, the usual stuff. Please come by then or any time earlier (it's pretty much finished now).
