Making a tv question....

I tried searching the forums, but I don't think I'm using the right terms...

However I'm wanting to build a TV & Radio, and wanted to know how to stream the Videos onto my prim TV? Also doesn't SL support WMV?

Any help or links would be appreciated, thank you.

To stream both movie media and music (2 seperate stream controllers) doesn't require any special knowledge, other than having the correct land permissions to insert urls and a texture (for the movie) into the 'About Land, media tab' window. To show the movie, rez a simple prim, apply the exact same texture to the faces you want to show the movie on, and your done. Making sure that the texture you use has full perms on it, and preferably unique to any texture used in the same parcel or land to prevent the movie showing on lots of surfaces.

You only need script assistance if you wish to have greater control over the url, creating a playlist that you can change using a menu, rather than having to do so manually.
