The following is a notecard I set up about various sailing locations and a bit about yacht clubs. Anyone is welcome to add to this list here. ----- To join any groups listed in this notecard, try the search button at the bottom of your screen and do a search under the group tab for the group name. I'm working on a banner to put out at places like The Shelter that's kind of like "Hey kids, SL has sailing!" type thing. I'm thinking of putting this notecard into the banner, to be handed out to whoever clicks it, so now's a good time for people to mention any other links or changes they'd like.
Here's what I'm looking to cover with the notecard: 1. How to join a group. 2. What the SLSF is and where the forum (later the website) can be found. 3. Yacht Club Home Locations, in which yacht club is defined by... a. an SL group where anyone can join b. with some sort of gathering point where anyone can gather c. someone tells me about it, so that I even know to add it to the notecard 4. Race Lines out there in the open waters, waiting to be used. 5. Public docks, which I define as... a. a dock leading to a nice, open body of water waiting to be sailed b. open for anyone to rez their boats
I worry that the notecard is already loaded with too much information for anyone who's just curious as to what the banner is about, though. So here's my alternative idea:
A banner that someone can click on which provides a notecard mentions... 1. How to join a group. 2. What the SLSF is and where the forum (later the website) can be found. 3. Sailboats use actual wind physics, which is why it's so nifty keen. (I meet a lot of people who don't realize the sailboats are more intricate than your average SL vehicle.)
A box next to the banner that someone can copy which provides... 1. The free Flying Tako 2.3 2. The sailing locations notecard
Now that I write this all out, I think I might go with my alternative idea.
So yeah, any other thoughts? And mention your yacht clubs and docks now for the sailing locations notecard.

Our more prominent locations are obvious, but I suspect you've posted this request queue to cull fallow venues from an overly-full notecard? In that case, I'll speak up for:
Kazenojin Seiringu / Home of the Flying Tako - Gray 58.132.22 (Copy-Paste and add your venue here!)
