Those of you that have been around SLSF sailing for awhile remember the good old days when SYC provided slips for your TAKOs. Unfortunately, as it turned out, all those rezzed Tako 2's had active listen scripts that was adding a bit of lag. Therefore we had to remove active Takos from the marina. Kanker Greenacre solved the problem of the listening script and it is now possible for TAKO 3's to be in the marina without producing any lag.
With the ability to set all those custom made sails in "dry" mode for display, we want our members to once again be able to keep a copy of their Takos at SYC. Have cool sails you want others to see? Grab an open slip. Have the standard sails, but want a piece of the marina dock area for your "own". Grab a slip.
There are a few rules that must be followed by slip holders.
1. Your must be a member of Starboards Yacht Club group.
2. You must SHARE your Tako with SYC group. We need this so that the commodores can move boats if needed.
3. Your boat must be moored inside the white anchor line at the marina.
4. Do not use the DOCK feature to secure your boat in the marina. Your DOCK target location might not always be available.
