Flying Tako Sales

In case you didn't know, ever since I started selling the Tako for real $L, I've been donating all sales to the SLSF slush fund (previously held by Helen Dayton, now held by my alt, Seamus O'McFluffernutterson). I still need to update the sales for the past few months, but the total amount is around $130K or so, give or take a few dozen thousand.

So far, the slush fund has been used for advertising costs for various events, but we could spend it on just about anything that benefits the sailing community, in my opinion.

Owing to some new recurring SL expenses and the fact that we can't seem to spend the fund fast enough, I'm no longer donating Tako sales. Oh, and I'm raising the price of the Tako to L$20,000. Just kidding about the second part.

...heck, i still think they'd sell at L$2500, not kidding, as long as the free rentals are out there for folks to sample...

I have to agree with Myrrh, I think I paid L$1,700 for a racing stock car and another L$1,000 to upgrade it. It takes much more skill to sail the Tako than it does to drive the stock car.
