The weekly Mowry Bay Casual race went off without a hitch this week. A good turnout was on hand to make the race fun. Racing in at least one race this week was: Nber Medici, Cory Copeland, Saxxon Domela, Pensive Mission, Jamey Sismondi and Espresso Saarinen. On hand as well were Casual race team members Lehua Lamington and James Newcomb. We missed you Carm!

We ran two full races and two sprints. The race line was slow and allowed us time to eat while waiting for race countdown. The competition was fun but fierce. The owners or cyberglass made much money from the crunching of boats this week.

The sprints seem to be well received and will be continued in the future as there is interest. The sprint is basically a shortened course up to the red windward mark and back (the dog leg in the complete race).

Starting next week, we will offer the Casual Race Monday nights at 5:00 P.M. We are making the move to Monday to avoid update Wednesday. The theme for the first Monday race will be beach bum as well. Keep your favorite tan skin handy and any other beach items you might have and bring them along.
