Due to the grid outtage, we let the time trial and auction continue until noon SLT Sunday. A special congratulations to...
Jim Perhaps -- Winner of the Indigo RFL Boat at L$10,000
Dear Misfit -- Winner of the Pink RFL Boat at L$10,000
Both boats were custom made and donated by Suzanne Zeluco and are one-of-a-kind, special to Jim and Dear alone.
Suzanne Zeluco -- Winner of a Trudeau Defender Package (sailing and liveaboard models) with a time of 2:00 minutes on the time trial
Oliphant Ming -- Winner of the Trudeau Defender Sailing Version with a time of 2:10 minutes on the time trial
Svar Beckersted -- Winner of the Trudeau Cat with a time of 2:17 minutes on the time trial
All participants of the time trial received a model of the indigo or pink RFL boats. Prizes were kindly donated by Jacqueline Trudeau.
At the time of this posting, our donation kiosk had accumulated over L$64,000 in donations. Thank you to all who put a little money in the pot.
We also used some SLSF funds to lay claim to the luminaries that line the walkway in the Brazillian themed portion of the main course. Why? 'Cause it seemed the thing to do at 2 a.m.
I don't know how long the Relay for Life sims will stay online for all to explore, but it is well worth the visit and you'll find lots of fun off the main course. The sailing portion was held in the Australian-themed Raudf sim that also contains a very nicely done underwater tunnel, courtesy of Lost Therein.
Also thanks to those of you who came to man the docks and run the relay boat. I'm afraid to name each one of you, for fear that I'll forget one There were many who helped.
