Has anyone sailed the new "big Boat" here in Sl, The Holiday Sloop ?
I looked at her yesterday, and aside from a short mast, the somewhat small mainsail and the funky mainsheet arrangement, she does not look too bad.
I'm curious how she actually sails!

Brookston took me for a quick sail tonight, and I must say I am impressed. The ship uses the Tako 2.x scripts and is very smooth for sailing in what is technically 150 or so prims.
There's a slight delay when switching from "moored" to "sailing" mode where your boat has no top half, but if you can get over that, it looks like a great way to sail in a big boat.

Cool!
Thanks for the review...
I'll have to see if I can get a test sail too!

...she's based on the tako 2 scripts, so unless brookston did a bit of innovation on his own, no, she's likely mainsail-only...
