Hi, I'm Katie and I'm a college student who is really interested in the Support for Healing programs.
PLEASE post personal stories about how the support groups have helped you that I could use in my research paper!
Anything that is even remotely relevant to the Second Life mental health services would help. You can even post something about how Second Life in general has helped your mental health in any way.
Comments would greatly contribute to a more convincing argument that I hope will persuade Second Life to fund the growth and improvement of the programs.
Help yourself by helping me!! Please post and soon! It would be GREATLY appreciated!
Love, Katie.

It's possible you might want to try a non-public poll.

It'll also help if you put something about the subject of your poll in the thread's title. A moment of effort on your part saves lots of people the trouble of opening a thread only to find it's a subject they're not knowledgeable or don't care about. Giving a thread a good title is the polite thing to do. It also helps you attract attention from interested parties. I usually skip threads with meaningless titles, but I have some work I'm trying to avoid. If everyone used "please help" when they wanted something, half of the threads would have that title. (The other half would be "Damn it!" )

Katiee, have you tried the Support for Healing forum? (at supportforhealing.com)
Also, when you say that you want to persuade "Second Life" to fund Support for Healing, what do you mean? Do you mean the Linden Lab? Or are you talking about us residents?

I meant Linden Lab as well as more promotion to encourage charitable donations and grants.
Sorry my title was so offensive. It was actually my intention to attract as much attention as possible so I could receive helpful responses. The more people that look at it, the better. I can't figure out how to make the poll private, however.
Thanks for the feedback, please encourage anyone you know that has had experience with the support groups to post.
