"Ueber-gearrl"
Steampunk Costume or Industrial Jewellery
Recommended for use in areas of Steampunkery or Industrial Wastelands fashion, whether for honouring machinery or engaging it in combat.
This is a set of solidly built iron, copper, and brass jewellery/armour. Their design affords comfort and as well as protection: every item is lined with plush padded leather, to prevent chafing of skin and clothing. Every effort was expended to ensure that the girders and linings align properly. Some pieces also use circular brass girders for accents and buckles, and copper sculpted sprocket-wheels for propulsion.
Ueber-gearrl Crown (11 prims)
Ueber-gearrl Necklace (11 prims)
Ueber-gearrl Bracelets x 2 (1 prim each)
Ueber-gearrl Vambraces (lower-arm-braces) x 2 (6 prims each), includes free "Jet Pack" script
Ueber-gearrl Belt (3 prims)
Ueber-gearrl Greaves (lower-leg-braces) x 2 (6 prims each), includes free "Jet Pack" script
Note about Attachment Points:
The pairs of Bracelets and of Vambraces are each set up to be automatically worn on the lower arms. One may wish to wear the bracelets on the upper arms, so as to wear the entire costume at once. Here's how: first attach the Bracelets to the upper arm and edit their position until they are in place properly. Then, simply wear the Vambraces.
Note on Sculpted Prims:
A dark-copper sculpted-prim cog-wheel shape with pointy sprocket teeth (as earlier seen in my "Gears of Progress" line of clocks and stools) decorates the Belt, Vambraces, and Greaves. Due to the way SL renders these, they regrettably appear as smooth circles unless the camera is very close.
Note on Rocketry:
The pairs of Vambraces and Greaves match each other. Their copper cog-wheels includes the free "Jet-Pack" script, to display the sparkly chemical reactions of rocketry when in flight. I have found that many rocket-packs endanger the bustles on my skirts, or the tails of furries. Rocket boots and bracelets do not share these impediments, and can be worn more subtly with most types of tailoring.
To assist those who are concerned about laggy high-primitive costumes, I have listed the prim-count of each item, even though any number of primitives may be worn. Most of the girder detailing is thanks to free textures provided by CoyoteAngel Dimsum, the Duchess of Caledon Primverness.
Every item comes with both copy and modify permissions, to allow resizing as needed, but no transfer. This means a no-refund policy.
