Just wanted to throw this out there, since I've been working on this project for the past few weeks or so, and it finally looks like it's ready for people to start using it.

I've put together a Second Life Writing Wiki for aspiring authors that wish to have their work published both in-world and online, as well as editors hoping to ply their wares in an open environment.

Here's a rundown of the features I've put into this thing:

- Works in Progress and Authoring Pages:
Submit your work online for editors to review!

- Publication Board:
Have some writing you'd like published? Submit it to the publication board for review!

- Interactive Calendar:
Have a writing event you'd like to share? Add it to the calendar!

- Live Forum Feed:
Found a humorous forum quote? Add it to the front page!

... as well as the standard open environment that a wiki provides. I'm hoping that all of this will allow aspiring writers across Second Life to have the writing environment they so desperately need.

Anyway, I'm putting this here because NWN is historically the most writer-intensive portion of this forum, and because this isn't exactly a product or a direct service. I'd also like to have an admin or two (yes you, Hamlet) look over the thing to make sure I followed the "Fan Site" guidelines properly. ;)

Happy writing!

Jeffery,

I would like to thank you for all of your work on this project! The writing wiki is amazing, and it is an invaluable tool for writers of all stripes.

I have taken the plunge and submitted a short story I have written. I have posted the story in the hope that I will get some editing help. Any fantastic editors out there?

Prose is, by far, not my forte, but we only learn by trying new things, right? Be gentle, folks. :D
