Indeed, the wiki build was an interesting player reaction to the failure of LL to transfer the plots to the lottery "winners" and Weedy's hamster-run "asset server" is rather amusing SociaL commentary. Also interesting were the player initiated movements to bring attention to the otherwise overlooked Burning Life project. However, I expect that Hamlet knows which side his bread is buttered on.
If you are looking for more more art, less statement, then I should like to note that Cory Edo's stunning build "microcosm" is a good example of some of the best one can achieve with virtual builds, and that Lecktor Hannibal's build has an compelling message not related to SL. But, as I have advocated to many, you might like to visit Burning Life for yourself as it was indeed intended to be experienced rather than just talked about. _____________________

The ball array with a variety of fantastical interiors is cool, though I don't recall offhand if Hamlet already covered that.
Also, a bit promoting a friend, but Jessica Qin's build is pretty awesome in my book; says nothing in particular, just pure spectacle... but what a spectacle! _____________________

You can only go right with The Magic Pirate Cave Adventure, right in time for Talk Like A Pirate Day in a few days (Sept. 19) too!
Situated at Burning Life 1 in the SouthWest corner (thanx CS for the directions). Can't miss the big pirate ship! Check out the textures on the sails, play the game, talk to the makers they're nice people, etc.! Even attention paid to detail like the "Catch 40 winks" poseballs. Hehehe. Perhaps even more grandly I should mention what a collaborative project assembled by friends this is. Read the sign at the entrance. Walk through the entrance and let the journey begin. _____________________
