Ok my problem has been going on since i have purchased my membership and started playing... I will log on and play for a good 20 minutes or so then my game will just kinda freeze not my computer but my game i can look around in mouse view and out of it but i cant move or chat with anyone and as soon as i click quit game my computer locks up i am very very upset by this and i seriously need actual help not just people telling me its my graphics card because it isint i have a radion 9800 and i know that the radion series has trouble with the game but i have downloaded every availible driver that would help my graphics card even the one that had a fix for SL please im begging you people help me out i dont want to have to leave the game and be very frustrated...

i was having a similar problem yesterday with SL crashing, but not my entire computer locking up. In my case it was my modem that was causing it. It would continually disconnect on me. For me to fix it was just a case of resetting the modem and router until it did work.
From what you say about not being able to move or chat in SL but still look around, seems that you lost the connection with the SL server.
You might want to check around on the web about firmware updates for your modem, and see if you should update.

Alright thanks i figured it might have something to do with my router but other people depend on it ill just make them pay for there own Cable service  lol Thanks a bunch ill also look into Firmware |

This has been happening alot to me as well. I thought my router was dying so I took it out of the loop and the problem cleared up. Sooo... firmware update for the router will fix?
