This image popped up on Snapzilla a few days ago, one of my favorite characters from classic "Sesame Street". Who can tell me the story behind it?

Hah, that's bloody ancient. I don't think there is a huge story behind it, though. Someone just felt like making one?

I'm pretty sure Eckhart made them.

I don't recall who made them but I do remember someone putting about a dozen of them out on my land once. They were hilarious and behaved just like you'd expect them to, sounds and all. Brought back lots of fond memories of eating dinner while watching the muppet show with my family when I was a kid.

Thanks for the pointers, folks!

Some wacky dude actually uploaded a Realplayer file of the whole routine here, for a classic article, Sesame Street, 25 of my favorite memories.

You can buy them in the market in Boardman, I can't remember the name of the guy who made them though.

Went and got myself a pair-- wow, they can even go off and explore on their own, too! It's hilarious to hear them Yip-yip-yipping off in the distance.
