Is there a particular parcel that people have dedicated to these individuals?

It would be nice to maintain something permanent in their honour.

I think that we should have sometype of memorial wall. That residents that passed could have their names listed and names retired maybe .......... a very touching idea.

I'd be very interested in such a wall/memorial. I also hope it doesn't require much use, beyond a handful of folks who pass away after a long full life surrounded by loved ones.

There is the Beta wall in Plum, maybe it would be possible to put a similar wall up with the names of deceased Second Lifers.

A way I could see this done is... currently in Plum, there is currently a Memorial building. I do not know how long it will be up for -- Darko, Paris, Flea, any details? -- but the individual memorial plaque textures and globes could be transferred to a more permanent installation when the time comes. That would facilitate transition as future arrangements to keep those who are are now gone in our memories. But here in the present, it is a fitting and honorable place to remember our lost loved ones, whether we knew them in OL or SL or both.
