SLA Maybe?!!

OK so i am sittin here waiting for SL to come back up, thinking how i am missing my nightly yatzee event at Cape Destiny So out of pure boredom i scan the boards and what do i find? People just like me having dare i say it SL WITHDRAWLS!!

So i am thinking either i need to join a Second Life Anonymus
group!! However if theres not one out there i think i need to make one... WHOS WITH ME

I got kicked out of Narcotics annon when I told them I had to smoke large amounts of crack to justify spending so much time and money in SL.

Apparently Second life isnt up to par with the other crack smokers who only have 14k modems.

Damn Clint i knew it!! My crack started going missing during my meetings and i knew i wasnt that high to have forgot where i put it!!!

I think I'll start a 12-step program for SL addicts and call it "Friends of Phil".

Now would this be held in game? Cause I can't make anything outside of game...cause I'm here and too busy. But wait, SLA in game would be a little redundant. I don't care anymore...JUST LET ME BACK IN!!!!!

Hello, my name is Orlando and I am a SL addict.

It started about twelve months ago, innocently enough. I was offered some beta proram, and whilst it was fun, I only did it because my friends did, and then they stopped so so did I. <takes deep breath> I didn't do any SL for about six months but then I got another offer to come back and try it for free again. So I did and it was fun at first. But then it was suggested I buy a small amount of land, so I get my first 512 plot and it felt REALLY good to own a piece of SL. But then I realized that the land I had wasn't strong enough because it was only PG so I upgraded to a Mature piece of land. And 512 wasn't enough so I upgraded to 1024. And then some "friends" I met on SL suggested that it might eb good if I built a club so I bought more land.

Suddenly, I had so much land that I was ... dealing it to. Yeah, I was seen as a Land Baron

I never meant to man, its just the money, the power, I even got off on been crtizied in the forums.

My wife never sees me now, except when I sneak up to bed at 3:00 in the morning and my kids know me as the unshaven smelly guy who lives in his office. I'm doing stronger stuff now - LSL. Yeah, I'm a scripter <sob>

I could never join SLA because that implies I want to quit.

I am a refugee from TSO and SL has been like being free after being held hostage for 2 years. I am a shopaholic. I spent almost $200 in RL money to buy $L but it was good. I got my money's worth now. I have the land I want and I am going to have a fantastic house build for me. I am going to learn how to script and do my own stuff, and I am happier than I've ever been.

Fortunately I have an understanding boyfriend who has his own computer addicitons and a job that allows me the freedom to play several times a day while at work. Even when SL is down, I am busy doing SL related stuff, my blog or studying scripts. Life is good. Second Life is even better!
