With props to Torrone Trombo, I'm trying out a regular new NWN column:

New World SLurl, featuring a SLurl link to a cool build/project/game/business/themed area/etc., 3-6 times a week. If you've got suggestions, post them here, or send to me via e-mail or private message. I will give full credit to any Resident's suggestion I run, and if you'd like to include it, a SLurl plug to a place of your own.

Here's the format for submiting suggestions:

- <SLURL>

- Name or title and short description of the SLurl

- Add "SLurl from [your Resident name here]. Visit me in SL at <your own SLurl here>."

Some guidelines:

- As with NWN Events of the Week, preference is on SLurls with cultural/social/artistic/scientific/educational/cool/uniqueness value.
- No blatant commercialism or M-rated content. (Note the word "blatant". So, for example, a shopping mall per se would not make a good New World Slurl-- though an architecturally unique mall might.)
- If the SLurl points to private, non-commercial land that's not generally open to the public (i.e., someone's home or otherwise blocked-off area) get the landowner's permission first (unless of course it's your own land.) If you submit a SLurl here, I assume you already received this permission.
- SLurls should point to relatively "stable" content not due to change in the near future. For obvious reasons, no sandbox SLurls!

Second Life Garden Show : Mar 27 - Apr 2
http://slurl.com/secondlife/Svarga/128/128/25/?x=520&y=350&img=http%3A//www.sluniverse.com/pics/60125.jpg&title=1st%20Annual%20Second%20Life%20Garden%20Show%2C%20Mar%2027%20-%20Apr%202&msg=Come%2C%20relax%2C%20wander%2C%20view%2C%20vote%20for%20your%20favourite

Based on a traditional UK annual event called a "Garden Show". Landscape Artists and gardeners amateur and professional compete to build themed gardens in small areas usually no larger than 1/4 acre.

Svarga Events bring this event into SL by providing an entire sim for people to build themed gardens on small plots. With a judging contest and prize giving at the end. Free entry, open to the public on 27th March.

More info here...

Please come and support the wonderful creativity of some of SL's best landscape artists.
