It's pretty good, especially for integrated graphics using shared memory.

I have the 15" MBP, with both the dedicated and embedded nVidea VPUs. Both work great, and both have drawbacks.

The embedded chipset will require a shorter draw distance and will take longer for things to rez. It seems to crash on me every hour or so. But, I use it on batteries and it does not produce much heat.

I use the dedicated 512 mb GPU when I'm plugged in, and I can crank all of the graphics options up to full blast. SL never crashes with this GPU, but my MBP case heats up to about 115 degrees farenheit and a small hurricane results from the wildly spinning fans.

So, I think you are good to go. One thing, you may get a message saying "SL does not recognize your video card" when you first log in; I think LL is working on updating the SL viewer to include these newer video chipsets, though, so it should work.

I'm pretty happy with it - running a late 08 aluminum 13" MB - same graphics as the new ones. Best tip I've seen on faster rezzing - and strangely, this is pretty independant of frame rate - is to turn off multi-threading. Better both on mac and a Dell PC with Nvidia 8600. It didn't make sense at first, intuitively, but I compared repeatedly on several sims with complex features and the difference was pretty dramatic.

I've also been running the LL "Snowglobe" viewer on both machines since I read about it here in July. Definite increase in frame rate.
