I'm lucky enough to own one of the new Mac Book Pros, with its multi touch trackpad. I've also checked out an app called 'multi clutch' which allows you to programme the various gestures to perform different commands in specific applications.
I can confirm this works in SL.
This is great news for me as on my iMac I use a nine button mouse with all sorts of commands programmed - one click access to inventory and search, for example.
So far I've only tried a very simple command - a three finger swipe to hide the app (don't ask). This works perfectly, so I'm going to be experimenting. This could be a really fun and fast new way to interface with the programme.
I was wondering if anyone else out there has tried this and if so, with what success. What are you managing to achieve with the multi touch gestures?
