1.20 Weird things are happening

I just updated to RC 1.20.0 and now my avi just seems to like to get up and fly all the time! and my camera just keeps doing goofy things too.

Am I the only one? Is anyone else having these issues?

Kinda hard to play when your avi has a mind of her own :-)

I did noticed joystick was checked (i don't use one) and I unchecked it but didn't seem to make a difference.

IMPORTANT NOTE: There is a known issue in this Release Candidate on OS X with Apple’s Mighty Mouse. The primary mouse button will toggle the “Flycam” mode. This will cause unusual behavior and we do not suggest using Second Life 1.20 RC0 with a Mighty Mouse at this time. We will fix this bug in the next RC.

This is happening with my Microsoft Sidewinder mouse on my mac as well.

Im useing the 3D navigator, but the viewer just crashes more than main viewer, i'll wait till next one.

Oh thats very nice. What they're not telling you is that the fix for that is literally a one liner that they could have very easily dropped into this release had they TESTED IT AT ALL.

1.20 freezes constantly.

Even locks up the system. I set the memory settings back and every minute or two I get the beachball. Locks up the system most of the time. Very annoying.

Anyone able to get around the lag and lock ups with the new release candidate?

1.20 RC locks up my mac after a few minutes as well, the release today (1.20.1.84760) didn't help at all.

Macbook Pro 2.5 GHz Core 2 Duo (Penryn)
Nvidia 8600M GT 512 MB VRAM
4 GB RAM

OS X 10.5.2

etc etc

Works fine with a Logitech mouse on my Mac Pro, with the latest version of Leopard and latest graphics card drivers for the ATI X1900. So switching to an inexpensive three-button Logitech mouse should fix it for you. (And they feel better than the Mighty Mouse, anyway.)

Well, I tried 1.20 and none of the menus work. If I click on any of the menus, nothing happens. If I use the keyboard shortcuts, the desired effect happen. Anyone else? Any idea what the deal is?

Using a 24" iMac, ATI card, 2Gb mem.
