Mac Mini useable on SL with this ATI utilities trick

To make a Mac Mini useable on second Life with a Radeon 9200 as well as that 4200 rpm hard drivwe there is a performance trick needs to be implemented. Good news is ATI provides the trick. Ok here goes.....

Download the latest ATI utilities as of this writing is 4.5.5 for Mac OS X

Install it naturally

Go to system preferences and open ATI utilities

select the 3D detent on left side

Ovveride SecondLife.app by selecting it and setting Hi Performance settings.....

This ovverrides the Second Life settings for really good performance

Makes Second Life useable on the Mac Mini with 1gb ram

Needs to be reset if you upgrade or reinstall the application so when you update SL update the selection of the app

Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't think it's actually "unusable". At least not under Panther... I don't know about Tiger.
