When I download the latest release and ostensibly put it into service, It does not show on the splash page.. In fact an earlier release shows in it's stead.
Should I erase SL and start over with the latest release? If so, what will happen to my inventory, cash balance, etc?
Running Mac Pro OSX 10.4.10.

You will get everything back. If i was you i should not do it now because SL has a lot of problems at the moment. See blog. Wait until everything is fixed.
