I just got my new mac and I was trying to download SL, but it just won't happen. It keeps saying it's downloading, but it never goes past 1/2. I can't see any reason why this would happen.
Does anyone have any advice?

Just a few. Amazon S3 hosts the downloads, and those can be spotty at busy times of day, give it a try later. Give your browser's cache a flush, sometimes that seems to help, or at least it kills enough time to feel like it made a difference when you try again =) Ditto for trying the download with a different browser. If you're using wireless, see if wired makes a difference, just to rule out a flaky connection to that new machine.
