Are there any of you guys who use mac and a stylus, who have any tips about using the camera in restraint off mode.Tips on mouselook greatly appreciated also, as that for me is a nightmare.

what the heck do you mean by a stylus? Are you using a Wacom tablet and a pen, or something similar?

Is there any real reason to use a stylus for SL? Doesn't it make more sense to use the stylus when you're drawing and just a mouse for SL?
At least that's how I feel; I can't fathom SL being too comfy to use with a stylus.

I have a Wacom tablet attached to my Mac. But when I am doing SL, I use a three-button mouse. The stylus just isn't the right tool to use for accessing SL. Too much of SL is dependant on being able to right click or left click while you do something. And while my stylus does have a configurable switch that could concievably issue a left-click or right-click, it's just far easier to use the pointing device SL was designed for.

I do everything on my computer using my Wacom, i've not unpacked the mouse that came with my comp, nor the mouse that came with the comp previous to this one, or the one previous to my second one .. I've actually not used a mouse on my mac in about 15+ years (ever since I got my first one wacom for use with with my LC)
I cant stand SL with a mouse have used it a few times at friends, places and I get so blasted furstrated with using it that I soon stop and wait till I get back home, that or remember to bring my wacom with me when I visit.
I do a lot of building in Second Life and I can't imagine using a mouse to do it, even clothing design i can't imagine using a mouse to do so .. but then again since I've been using a wacom for so many years, what can I say its my idea of a took to use on a comp.
