You teleport somewhere, you arrive successfully, you're there for a few seconds, and then suddenly it seems as if you're TP'ing again? Black screen, progress bar, yada yada.
It only happens rarely for me, and I can't seem to figure out what circumstances would be causing it, or if it's some goofy random SL glitch.
It doesn't matter much. The worst that happens is that when I cancel out of the additional TP, I get frozen and have to relaunch SL. I was just wondering if anyone else got this from time to time.

It happens now and then, yeah. (And I don't have a mac.. ) Seems to be quite random to me.

Probably two out of three times, or would that be four out of three time? Some days it doesn't happen at all.

Yes... it happens on windows from time to time too; it's not just a mac thing.

Where does the second tp take you? I've never been brave enough to let the second tp finnish.

It will eventually take you to nowhere. You get logged out.
It's not unique to the Mac client either. My SL partner gets them and runs Windows.

From: Bee Mizser It will eventually take you to nowhere. Ah. The "Road to Nowhere" TP. Nice. Yeah, I cancel out before I find out. I'm always slightly concerned I'm going to randomly end up at a Gorean furry S&M party with my shoe up my ass.

tp prob
09-15-2008 01:20
yeh i get that problem sometimes and end up in some bizarre landscape where there is nothing, no nothing at all...........moon like
if i may ask another question thats buggin me and prob related..on log-in my comp screen is sometimes shifted over to the right and inch or so, so i can't access inventory or right side of the sl screen tabs, this usually clears to full screen if i re-log, but is there some screen or comp setting i have wrong here?
I think its gotta be sommat to do with the resolution, as all the icons look big and the sl main screen looks large too....durrrr
thanks dog

I've seen it on both Mac and Windows. It's an SL glitch, not OS-specific.
