Macbook wont completely load SL?? HELP

Hello Everyone!!!

I have a MacBook that has worked GREAT with SL. Yesterday I downloaded the greenlife emerald viewer and I've been having troubles since. I can log onto SL, but nothing around me completely load. My avatar is standing there as a cloud..I'm unable to move, chat, etc. Moments later, SL crashes on me and then I see all these messages of things that failed to load. I deleted the greenlife viewer and went back to the SL view 1.23...and still nothing.

Has anyone had this trouble? What can I do to fix this. I haven't seen much other related issues on this. What I did see, I followed the instructions (clearing cache, rebooting, etc) and still nothing happens. It's frustrating. I called the apple store to see if I'd done something wrong or maybe missing a step. My computer meets all the requirements to run SL, but I dont know why it wont fully load where I can work inside the application.

Any help or advice would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you so much!

try removing your settings files for SL located in your home directories Library under Application support and Second Life... then it will run like it runs for the first time again, and recreate them at defaults.

I tried that but it wasn't successful. This has happened before and it seems like it took SL or my MAC like a couple of days to get back into the swing of things. ...but I don't understand why that has to take place either.

That you so much for your suggestion. If you have any more, please share. I'm clueless as to what else to do.

On a lighter note - I find it funny how I'm going nearly crazy that I can't log into SL...like everything seems to stop until I can get this fixed lol!

try logging in to another sim, I go to Quan Li sometimes when my inventory won't load. Try another version of the SL viewer, maybe not the latest release, people having lots of problems with it. Dump all your preferences as has been suggested and download a fresh SL client to install. Before logging in, set your preferences on low settings to see what happens first, if it works, improve your settings later. And cross your fingers.
