SL Help! I can't fly!!

I'm on a MacBook and am having serious issues flying in SL. If I use Page up, I go forward..not up. Page down moves me backwards, not down. It's getting really frustrating to have no control over my height!!

Can anyone help?

The mapping on the notebooks makes my head hurt, play with the fn key and check in system preferences for toggles to play with.

It might be easier on a small keyboard to use the letter keys, WASD for up/left/down/right, F for fly, E and C for jump/flyup and crouch/flydown. Or you can use View>Movement Controls to get the mouse controls.

That's correct... hold down the "fn" key on the lower left corner and then "page ^". Then fly away, little avatar.
