I just got a new iMac 9,1 with OSX 10.5.8. I transferred all data and programs from my old iMac G5 where SL worked well. First time I logged in on SL on the new mac, it opened, but a message said that the graph. card was unknown to SL. Anyway, it worked. But next time I tried to open SL viewer it just does not work. A new download of the latest Mac viewer does not help. I guess it must be the graphic card: NVIDIA GEForce 120. What will happen when the OX Snow Leopard arrives? Any help? I hate not to be able to play SL. Will Lindens try to include this card?

Will SL open at all? If you can get to the login screen, try clearing the cache. Go to the Edit menu, preferences, and open the the network tab.
If you can't get to the login screen, open the finder. Go to your home folder (/Macintosh HD/[your username]. Open the Library, open Application Support, open Caches and delete the folder "SecondLife".
The error message just means the GT120 will default to low graphics settings. SL does work with it.
