Is Second life can run buy dual monitor ?

I'm gonna buy MacPro in soon,
just doubt about it , if it can run dual display I would really nice.

See my recent posting. I just installed a second graphics adapter on my Mac Pro and the SL client has some bizarre behavior on that display: my skin and clothes (not my hair) render flat black and other avatars near me see the same thing. When I run SL on my main screen it behaves quite normally.

The Mac pro can support upto 8 monitors (4 graphics cards with 2 monitors each) BUT, they should all be the same time (AFAIK) or you can get some strange behavior. On mine I tried 2 different cards and Time Machine (the backup software) wouldn't display correctly.

Ive not tried it myself, but I read that SL doesnt like multiple monitor systems.

The question is what you expect...

SL runs at multiple monitor systems (I use an iMac with second monitor installed), you can stretch the SL-window from one screen to the other, there's no problem...

But you can't use the main-monitor for the SL-window and the second-monitor for the inventory-list and other windows which regulary are into the SL-Window (like some do with Photoshop: mainscreen for the picture, second screen for palettes,tools,...,... ), this isn't supported by SL.
