Shadows on iMac with ATI HD 4850

Hello all,
I can see shadows with 1.23 RC1 on BootCamp/Windows XP but not on MacOS 10.5.6 with 1.23 RC1.
A solution ?

nope... right now shadows are not supported under Mac OSX

I guess they are working on it.... hopefully
