I am trying to work out if this is a mac issue or an sl issue.

Every once in awhile (no pattern to it) my Avatar starts spinning, I can stop this by hiding the chat bar and showing it again or clicking on a different application's window and back to SL.

This did not present itself for about a year after I got my mac. Which is a 2.8 GHz Intel iMac with 1 TB of disk space. Currently with a fiber optic connection, so network speed is certainly not an issue.

One thing I am wondering about is if it is the bluetooth keyboard maybe? I just replaced my batteries in it recently, so that should not be an issue either.

Anyone else have this problem? Were you able to solve it?

Hmm .... still happens with a USB keyboard. Any ideas?

I don't know what causes it, but I've had the spinning happen every so often since I started SL and on three different Macs. None of them were using a wireless keyboard, so it probably isn't related to that.

Yes, know of another mac user who has also had it happen but not on a wireless keyboard. Then my own test added more weight behind bluetooth not being an issue. Hmmm ...
