Am I the only one noticing that 1.7 gives 1/3 to 1/2 the frame rate of 1.6? The 1.7 preview wasn't this bad. What gives?

Am I the only one noticing that 1.7 gives 1/3 to 1/2 the frame rate of 1.6? The 1.7 preview wasn't this bad. What gives? I'm not on a Mac, but everything slows down after an update.. sometimes it takes hours to work itself out, sometimes days.. Its the stress of having everything turned back on after turning it all off for the update.. _____________________
