A couple of days ago music started being flakey for me. I am using the latest release candidate. If I log into sl with music not playing, the first place I try and play music I can get it going. However if I change sims or move to a new place with a new stream, I can't get music going again without relogging. has anyone else see this problem? Any clues on what might be going on. As a side note, all the other sounds are fine.
Up until a couple of days ago I was having no problems at all.

I guess my next suggestion would be to listen to a radio feed in iTunes and see if the problem shows up there as well.
If not you might want to try using the release candidate version of the viewer. You might also want to try adjusting your preferences as it may be a bandwidth issue and not your mac.

I had a lot of issues with the Mac SL viewer. I switched to Snowglobe which runs far better on the Mac.
With SL it was media for me that would refuse to start. I would have to click stop and play about a dozen times to get it to play. On Snowglobe it will pick up the new media and music right as I enter a new parcel. On very rare occasion media won't start but hitting stop and play once has always gotten it to work again for me.
