Delay with multiple threads

I tried using the Run Multiple Threads option since I have a dual core Intel. The problem I have with this enabled is there's about a 5-10 second delay before a texture starts to load. Once it starts it's significantly faster. With this disabled, textures begin to load as soon as they come within range without delay.

Anyone else have this issue as well?

With this option on it took me minutes to see everything.

In the earlier viewers I had no problem with this option, all worked fine - now, with the last viewers it became horrible.. I unchecked it and now SL is back to show everything fast...

I tried changing the setting. Unfortuantely, didn't work. Things still staying grey, clearing in the then going back to grey. Reverted again. Oh well.

Glad it's not just me. I'm guessing they're having a deadlock or sync issue that's preventing texture downloads from initiating. There was occasions when some textures completely refused to load with multiple threads enabled.
