Copy-Paste problem

Hi Folks

Hope somebody can shed some light on this problem. I have some text I want to copy from Word to a notecard in SL. Thing is, copy and paste wont do it. I can copy and paste within SL (notecard-to-notecard) and within Word (doucment-to-document) but not bewteen Word doc and SL notecard. I tried the same with AppleWorks, but again, no paste in SL. It's odd.

Can anybody suggest a solution?

I use TextEdit which works fine, but no formatting

Thanks for the reply, but yes, I tried TextEdit too, but get the same result - no paste. It's wierd!!

Well cancel that - I went back and it had worked!!!! maybe it's a time delay and i need to wait (I'll try Word again).

Thanks Kumi, TextEdit seems to be the solution. It wont copy from Word, but pops in after a short delay from TextEdit. Still, that's odd. but I can live with it.
