Running behind a Apple Airbase or other router

Recently something changed with my connection. All of a sudden I can't access SL from behind any of my routers. One is a Netgear, the other is one of the origianl Apple Airbase (Silver) wireless units.

This is a PPoE connection to a Fiber Optic connection. Yeah, I'm in Japan *smile* - Cool huh? :)

If I connect my MacBook Pro directly to the "modem" and use my MAC to authenticate to the service, I can connect to SL fine. As soon as I use a device using NAT, I can not connect with any portion (web or connection) of SL for the SL CLIENT ONLY. Everything else; mail, web browsing, FTP all work fine.

I have tried port mapping and no success. Maybe I'm doing it wrong or, this is not the answer. Some detailed steps using the Apple device would be most welcome!

If anyone has some ideas, I would be most appreciative.

Thanks,

Perhpas your router has some sort of logging you can turn on. Then you can collect some information about what happens when SL connections are started...
