Hi, all. I did a search first, but found nothing useful.

I'm on a MacBook Pro which means that I don't have a page up or a page down; so how am I supposed to increase/decrease altitude when flying? Is there a way I can configure my SL keyboard shortcuts to do this?

On top of that, I have no key on my keyboard that lets me START flying. I can only hit the "Fly" button at the bottom of the screen, and although I am used to it by now, I would like to set up a button for this!

Thanks, guys!

For flying up and down, use your Fn + <arrow key>, either the up or the down arrow, respectively.

On my Windows machine, the "F" key toggles flying state, in addition to the Home key.

I don't know about Macs.

Thanks, I'll try it. I never knew that the function key had more purpose than the F buttons at the top.

On my MacBook Pro I use the E and C keys for Up and Down when flying, with my left hand, and my right hand uses the Arrow keys for forward, back, left and right.

I don't recall there being any special preference settings necessary to make that work, and don't see anything related to it in the preferences windows, so I assume it is the default.

When you are not flying E makes you jump and C makes you crouch.

Page up and down buttons controls the height... I have a flight feather which you need if you want to go higher than 200 m
