Well, with the new version (and OSX 10.4.6 on my Intel Mac Mini), things are running absolutely horribly. Most things are grayish, not not the friendly i'm-loading grey - just greyish blank. Including the sky. Everything is extremely slow, slower than it ever has been with lag in the past. Like, if it continues to function at this speed I won't be able to keep using Second Life.

I'm hoping this is some bizarre new-version bug, somehow related to the 10.3.9 comatibility issues, and that LL will fix it today and tomorrow, but I'm not sure they're aware of it. Anybody else here having similar problems?

I've tried every possible thing to fix it (fiddling with the settings, clearing the cache, etc.), so I know it's nothing on my end.

Both my MacBook and G5 are running just fine, actually faster than ever with the new upgrade. My only problem is lighting based, see post below. Don't know why yours is not working. I would do a fresh download and try again. Good Luck. Szabo

Figured It Out!

Never mind, guys.....it was the 'Ripple Water' option, being on by default. Turned that off and everything works A-OK. Suggest anyone else having this problem do the same.

Got 10.3.9. Still locked out of my second life. Sigh.
