I've started running SL in Windows so as to be able to use Second Inventory to transfer stuff between SL and other Grid worlds. I have to confess that the experience is better in Windows: clearer brighter screen, smoother action etc. (I run a MacBook Pro, 4Gb memory.)
The one problem has been that I can't do screen-grabs because there is no dedicated key on a MacBook Pro keyboard as there is on a PC keyboard. Okay, working in Mac you use Shift+Cmd+4 and it's great! But the Apple help-line won't tell you what the corresponding Mac key combination is within Windows (even tho' there is one... someone in Apple must have provided one when Boot Camp was written.) They want to charge you £30+ before they'll search their database! There is a keyboard remapping programme in Windows but its feverishly complicated to use and won't solve this problem anyway.
I found some sort of answer eventually, and here it is as a public service to anyone who has to use Windows in Boot Camp on their Mac:
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1220
is for the MacBook Pro, and if you scroll down to 'Related Articles', bottom left, you'll see links to mappings for other Mac keyboards.
The Print Screen command (fn+Shift+f11) puts a grab of the whole screen onto the Clipboard, so you can work on it in the paint package that comes with Windows; fn+Shift+f11+Alt grabs just the active window. Resizing the window will give you almost the same effect that Shift+Cmd+4 does on the Mac side.
