Hi there; i am new to making sculpties, im on a intel mac, and i have zbrush and i have finally made a sculptie i like and want to bring it into second life. I have downloaded wings 3d and the exporter file for sl sculpties, but i have trouble in wings 3d when i try saving my obj file in wings as a SL sculptie. I get error messages saying "mesh to large" or something about mesh being not compatible.

Number two. How can you texture in Wings3d? Can you also; texture in Second Life with a .bmp or a png...

can you help me in anyway or provide help or tutorials thanks!

There are some good tutorials on these topics. Search here and also google (and YouTube). They should not be impossible to find.

Your Mesh error message is covered in the Wiki and these forums. SL sculpties are very picky about the exact topology of the mesh. The one you created in ZBrush is not right.

You can sort of texture directly in Wings. You have to map a texture (usually a checkerboard template) onto the object. Then you export that template and work on it using a 2D editor such as PS or Gimp. You go back and forth between Wings and the 2D editor to check your progress. This is also covered in the various tutorials.

Good luck. Maybe someone who is better organified than I will post a bunch of specific links (even though they are all already in the Wiki).
