I am having issue logging in with the mac, i can log in with my laptop..but it has gone away for repair.
when i click log in ...it gets to waiting for region handshake and then gives me the following error message
Unable to connect, Login packet never recieved by login server
please try again in a few minutes or click help for advice and a link to the system status help page.
can any one tell me what is causing this and help me sort it
would be very grateful

Firewall settings, maybe? I get that sort of message sometimes when I am on VPN to my RL work network, as some segments there are controlled tighter than when I am directly on the Internet.
Could also just be the bug that is affecting many users right now, as reported in the blog, where repeated attempts at logging in may be required.

Hello Thank you for your response, i haven't changed any settings on my mac so i doubt its the firewall, i was basically a case of using it...i crashed then couldn't get back in. The mac in mainly my husbands computer, and i don't really know enough about it to investigate the firewall settings.... Thank you for your help again |
