I replaced my Macbook Pro, 2GB RAM, 1.6GHz Intel Duo Core) with the new iMac 3.0 GHz and 4GB RAM.
SL is running very slow and sluggish. Choppy to say the least. My graphic settings are the same as the MBP: Mid and run in a window. Is there something I need to set on the Mac to make it run correctly? It doesn't make sense that this Mac which is twice as big in terms of processor and memory, runs like crap. Help!!!  |

Try enabling the option to run multiple threads. It's under the Advanced menu. If you don't have the advanced menu in your viewer, enable it by pressing CTRL-ALT-D.
