Does the debug menu appear on Macs?

Is there a way to drag multiple inventory items at the same time - i.e. to drag a dozen items into a folder or drag a dozen items from the edit window to inventory without doing it one at a time?

What are the bars in the upper right corner of the app?

TIA, I'm sure I'll have others. :)

Yes, you can access the debug menu.. control-option-d I think (I'll check when I get home, windows box here :P )

unfortunately no, one at a time, however, I've found it easiest to open a second inventory window when shifting massive amounts of items form one place to another. dragging from one window to the other seems much easier than scrolling up and down for each item..

the bars in the upper right represent packet loss and bandwidth usage, respectively.

BTW.. there is no such thing as a stupid question :)

I got the combo to work. I wonder if I didn't have the SL window selected the first time I tried.

I didn't know I could do another inventory window. I'm going to go crazy dragging I think. Everything I own so far comes from several of those "101 Items for Newbies" boxes and I have to drag them from edit to inventory one at a time - and the edit window rescrolls to the top of the list after every one. :(

Is there any way to tell SL to use more memory? I know it could be set in OS 9, and there is a setting in Photoshop to let you tell the system in OS X.

(It's hard not to feel stupid when you fly into walls every five minutes.) :)

I'm fairly certian (checked a couple of random OS X forums) that you can not change the amount of memory alotted to an app in OS X like you used to do in OS 9. You can, however, change the amount of memory alotted to SL for texture caching in the SL preferences under the Advanced Graphics tab. Looking at it now, there are two settings, small for < 512Megs or Large for >=512Megs. I would base that on available memory as opposed to total system memory to be safe, because I'm not sure how LL intended its usage.

I hope this is helping ya :)

Thanks, I had that set right, but the disk cache one wasn't at max. I have lot of RAM, but the default graphics card, and I'm trying to avoid upgrading the card. The inventory tip alone saves me a lot of scrolling time. Thanks!
