I have just downloaded Blender for Mac (not the first time, but I thought I would give it another go). I found a great tutorial featuring sculpties for SL and was happily following along, till it came to the part about render, the tutorial indicated there should be a command for render SL sculpty. I do not have this. Is there some plug in I am missing? I have looked on the web and various forums but hmmmm I am a beginner to this and perhaps I am not looking for the right thing.

Hahahahah I can tell you are a master of understatement :0) Having completed the first part of the tutorial I had completely forgotten all the shortcuts by the time it came to the second part LOL, still it was the furthest I had progressed having tried umpteen times before.

In the main 3D View window (where you would've been sculpting your object), there should be a Render menu at the top. Look for the menus File Add Timeline Game Render Help. If you installed Domino's sculpty scripts, when you click the Render menu, you should see Bake Second Life Sculpties in the list :)

If that doesn't help, you could try asking in the Building Tips forum, as there's a lot more Blender experts reading and posting there.

Thanks for that Autumn, sadly that did not work either. I will keep trying or just go back to sculpty paint so the world will never see my chernobylesque dolphinsharkkipper.

/me waves to Bri <3

Hmm, not sure what it could be Kwant :/ Do you see any menus at the top of Blender?

Here's a photo of what I mean:

Do you see right above the monkey where it says Render, between Game and Help?

Thanks Autumn, my apologies for the delay in response, yes I have the render drop down menu, but nowhere does it say anything to do with SL sculpts, I have tried randomly clicking the other options but just get a message telling me no image found to render or words to that effect.

Ah, ok...then my next question would be: did you install Domino's scripts for Blender to work with sculpties?

If not, then look at this thread; hope that helps :)
