Since a few days I have problems with flying in Second Life. I am behind a Macbook and I know how to fly, and until now I did not have any problems.
But the last few days, when I am flying and I want to go forward or backward or down etcetera, nothing happens. The F button works and when I stop flying and start over, it works (for a few minutes or so).
All the buttons I am using are working, and the problem is not there all the time (about 90% of the time).

I tried it with several avatars at several times. Is this a known issue? Anyone knows how to help? I love flying in SL but flying like this isn't nice.

I don't think it's just a Mac issue... I'm on PC and I've been seeing the same thing. It may have to do with the recent sim server update, and now that I see I'm not alone meethinks it's jira time. (^_^)

One, question... Do you use a flight assist of any kind? I'm assuming "no" since you tried other accounts. I do use one, but I detached it for a while to see if it was part of the problem... It's not. (>_<

Did you Jira it yet? It's affecting lot's of Residents not just you

Restarting the simulator seems to help a little. Jira'ing now.

Well, I think it is the same issue, yes. I was kind of in a hurry when i started this topic so I will provide some more information:

- i tried this with and without AO's on. The problem stays the same.
- i am not using any scripts or assistants etcetera.
- my avatar seems to freeze when i try to move it while flying, SL does not crash but the avatar stops moving. Only pressing F (and falling flat on my face) helps.

I am not sure what you mean by Jira.... I have been using SL for about half a year now, but I am not using all its functions. The main things I do are chatting, buying clothes and hunting.
