I have an i Mac and before the rolling restarts in April 2009 it worked amazingly with no lag or problems. However it is now running very slow on rezzing, clothing and takes forever to see vendors goods posters displayed in shops on S.L.

I was so pleased when I bought the Mac as it worked perfectly as opposed to windows.

I have tried emptying the cache and re-installing and following the Wiki guide to fine tune. Nothing works!

Getting good internet and loads of space on my HD.

Can someone please help!!!

Thanks.

Hello You Two.

Sorry that you both are having such issues. I can only suggest that you both check out a few sites that helped me. The first is a page mentioned previously in this forum.

http://web.me.com/trilobyte/Zanzibar/Mac.html

There are some very good tips in there about improving your Mac SL experience.

The other site is for the Mac version of the Cool Viewer. I use it exclusively now and haven't regretted it.

[outdated]As of right now, I am using the 1.22.11.0 Release 7 client, built for Intel platforms.[/outdated]

Edit: 1.22.11.0 Release 8 is out as of 8 May 2009.
