I'm trying to figure out if this is Mac specific, because no-one I've asked from my contacts list has really experienced. But basically I sometimes get stuck in 'limbo' when I sit on something, or stand-up. e.g I sit on a chair and suddenly I'm at location <0, 0, 0> or some ways high up in the air, can see nothing around me, can't move. After a few seconds I'll suddenly be sitting normally, but during the 'limbo' period I can't see or do anything. It's really annoying, and a bit disruptive to the whole experience of sitting down

I get the same thing, but it is intermittant. I've got a G4 with an ATI Radeon 9800 pro card that I just installed and it seems to happen less now and when it does I recover more rapidly.

Happens to me too, but it's not mac only. I think it happens when the sim gets the sit down command, but loses (PL or similar) the location, and gets cleaned up later.

sit down problems

Platform: Powerbook G4 1.33Ghz, OS: 10.3.9
I also have sit down problems. Rarely I go into outer space (off the region) for about 5 to 15 seconds. More often I sit right through the object (sitting through the chair or lounge). I've found if I clear cache and Reloggin it clears it up.
