Hi
Im running iTunes, Nicecast and shoutcast server as my stream. Problem is the music cuts out, jumps etc constantly and its REALLY annoying. Also some people can hear music, some cant. The server should play to 30 people but this happens if theres only 5 or 6?!?!?!?! Thanks for any help  |

Hi Boggle,
Could be a number of reasons for the skipping/jumping. You might like to check this link for a few tips.. http://rogueamoeba.com/nicecast/manual/English.lproj/help_ATperformancetuning.html Also if you stop the stream, its worth running a speed test on your connection to make sure there are no problems with your upload speed http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ If you are hosting the shoutcast server on the same connection, might want to look at using a external shoutcast server to reduce the bandwidth load on your connection.
